The 2023 QB rankings feature the highest star ratings for every quarterback prospect who was given at least 3 stars by 247Sports, On3, Rivals (dual threat, pro style) and ESPN (dual threat, pro style). This page will be updated whenever a quarterback commits and as the four major recruiting services adjust their 2023 QB rankings. 147 high school quarterbacks are rated as 3-5 star prospects by at least one site for the class of 2023, and 98 of them are uncommitted. 2021 NFL Draft: Wide Receiver Big Board
The 2020 NFL Draft was a special draft for wide receiver talent, and this upcoming 2021 class could be just as good with the combination of top-end talent and depth throughout the class. With the league transitioning to a pass-first approach, the need for receiving talent has increasingly become one teams address throughout the draft. Over the past five years, there have been an average of 32 wide receivers taken in each draft, with last year topping out at 35 guys hearing their names called. Off-ball linebacker has become an increasingly scheme dependent position to evaluate with college teams tasking players with a variety of roles. Regardless of college or the NFL, the ability to play in space is king, and this class is a prime example of the shift from run stuffing thumpers (sorry Nick Bolton) to smaller rangier back seven players (see Jamin Davis). Continuing with the positional big board series, today we look at the edge rusher position. This group combines guys who will be lining up at 4-3 defensive end and 3-4 outside linebacker in the NFL. Unlike recent years, this group does not possess the “can’t miss” edge rushing prospect. Instead, it features a bunch of guys with great athletic profiles who will need to be placed in the right schemes to succeed. With so many different body types, there are going to be vastly different opinions on this edge group and probably some surprises with where guys are drafted. Texas basketball season recap
Texas basketball suffered a tough loss in the NCAA Tournament when it was upset by Abilene Christian. It was just another season that ended in disappointment for the Longhorns especially coming off a Big 12 Championship win against Oklahoma State. Texas must also find a new head coach after Shaka Smart was hired by Marquette for its head coaching position. What went right The Longhorns were loaded with talent this year and while they had their ups and downs this season, there was a lot to be happy about. The team thrived in the first half of the season. Then, it had a little bit of a drop off mainly due to the level of competition being played. Through all of that,
2021 NFL Draft: Tight End/H-Back/Fullback Big Board
Versatility is the name of the game when talking tight ends, H-backs and fullbacks. Typically, the average number of guys drafted from this group only 15 or 16 a year, but often many of these players will make their way onto teams as undrafted free agent pickups after the draft. This group in particular is strong at the top and then has a lot of specialist with development upside all the way down to the bottom of the group. Guys like Quinton Morris and Zach Davidson would have really benefited from a full combine, but this group could have some gems hidden on the back half of it along with the studs up top.
