Charlotte took the loss in the opening bowl game, robbing us of the greatest postgame celebration in the rich history of the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl. Weβve learned first-year head coach Will Healy, who appears to be roughly 23 years old, likes to get his party on.
Below is the celebration in the CharLIT locker room after qualifying for a bowl game for the very first time in program history. If there are still people out there who think there are too many bowl games and nobody cares, show them this clip.

Absolute mayhem.
One 23-second clip should have been enough to jump Charlotte to the top of the recruiting ranking sites.
I wish more coaches did things like this. I could see Dabo Swinney, Ed Orgeron and of course PJ Fleck getting weird in the locker room, but imagine Nick Saban. Imagine Mike Leach. Imagine Charlie Weis. Enjoy that visual of a topless Charlie Weis over the holidays.
So that was what a bowl eligibility party looks like. Hereβs what 1-0 looks like from August.

I couldnβt imagine what this would have looked like following a season-ending bowl win.
Damn you, Buffalo.
