It happened. The Big Ten officially postponed its college football season with an announcement expected shortly, and the conference will not compete in the fall of 2020. It will try to regroup and play a season in the spring of 2021.

The Big Ten is the first Power 5 conference to make this decision and the third overall behind the MAC and Mountain West. Currently, 41 teams in the FBS will not be playing in the fall of 2020 with others likely to follow.
