College Football Top 11: Week 13

1. LSU

LSU has the best wins in college football to this point in the season. LSU should be the top team in the country right now and will be if they run the table through the SEC title game.

2. Ohio State

The only team that might be better than LSU is Ohio State. It doesn’t quite have the resume of LSU in terms of top wins, but watching these two in the national title would not disappoint.

3. Georgia

Georgia has wins over Notre Dame, Florida and Auburn. Those are good wins. Wasn’t the best idea to lose to South Carolina, but that’s the way she goes sometimes.

4. Minnesota

Nobody has been a bigger Minnesota Gopher football supporter than me. The archives of Deceptive Speed may make you think differently, but Minnesota is in the College Football Playoff if it was up to me at this point.

5. Oklahoma

Iowa State sliding into the latest rankings gives the Sooners a second top 25 win. Sure looks like Oklahoma will need some help even if they win their final two games.

6. Baylor

Baylor is sitting right behind Oklahoma as its lone loss this season. Like Oklahoma, I think the Bears need some help no matter what it does to finish out the year.

7. Clemson

Guess how many top 25 wins Clemson has in the 2019 college football season. Zero. Win out or else.

8. Alabama

How many top 25 wins does Alabama have? It’s the exact same number as Clemson. The Tide played one good team and lost at home. Lots of help is needed.

9. Utah

My Utes just keep truckin’ along. No top 25 wins at this point, but a one-loss Pac-12 champ has a good shot at the Playoff. Keep it goin’ boys.

10. Penn State

Yes, Penn State has no chance at the College Football Playoff at this point, but the Nittany Lions still have a couple good wins against Iowa and Michigan. Minnesota and Ohio State on the road did them in. Now is time to beg your head coach to not leave for USC.

11. Wisconsin

Hey hey, welcome back Wisconsin. After losing to Illinois and Ohio State, Wisconsin has won three in a row with the most impressive of victories coming against Michigan and Iowa. The Badgers’ chances of making the Playoff is equivalent of winning a 20-team parlay.
