This has been a crucial weekend for college football recruiting including Saturday when nine prospects made their commitments at the All American Bowl’s Decision Day including the nation’s top-rated recruit Korey Foreman, who committed to USC. The weekend of recruiting is not done yet as defensive end Tiaoalii Saveaa is set to make his decision on Sunday, Jan. 3. He is listed as a 4-star recruit according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Savea is from Las Vegas, Nevada and attends Desert Pines High School. The strong side defensive end checks in at 6-foot-3 and 265 pounds.

According to 247Sports, Savea is expected to commit to UCLA for a solid addition for Chip Kelly and the Bruins 2021 recruiting class. The class ranks 36th in all of college football according to the 247Sports team rankings with 17 commits. Savea would be the third 4-star recruit in the Bruins class.
