Here’s a quick look at the Tuesday night’s top-25 schedule with a few notes on each game to make you smarter before diving in.

#12 Kentucky -11 @ Vanderbilt

Spread: Kentucky -11
Over/Under: 144

Vanderbilt is awful this season with a 1-9 SEC record, but after getting drilled by 15 or more in five of their first six conference games, the Commodores haven’t by 11 or more in any of their last four and beat LSU at home last week.

Rhode Island @ #6 Dayton

Spread: Dayton -10
Over/Under: 146.5

In a battle for the top spot in the A-10, Dayton and Rhode Island are coming in with a combined 22-game winning streak. If you haven’t watched Obi Toppin play for the Flyers this season, do it. Rhode Island is 7-2 against the spread on the road this season.

Nebraska @ #9 Maryland

Spread: Maryland -17
Over/Under: 147.5

Nebraska lost 8 in a row, and Maryland won 6 in a row. The Huskers are 0-8 on the road and are losing those games by an average of 12.5 points coming off their worst performance of the season in a 24-point loss to Iowa. Terrapins are 6-1 against the spread in their last 7 and live alone atop the Big Ten standings.

Michigan State @ #22 Illinois

Spread: Michigan State -2
Over/Under: 141.5

Michigan State lost three in a row to fall out of the rankings, and Illinois lost two straight. Spartans smacked around the fellas from Champaign for a 20-point win in early January. Michigan State is 2-4 against the spread in their last 6, and unders cashed in 10 of Illinois’ last 15 games.

Missouri @ #25 LSU

Spread: LSU -11
Over/Under: 144.5

LSU gave Vanderbilt its first win and collapsed in the final minute against Auburn to move the Tigers out of sole possession of first place in the SEC. LSU needs to remember what winning is like going up against Missouri, which is 1-7 against the spread in its last 8.

New Mexico @ #4 San Diego State

Spread: -15.5
Over/Under: 148

For those of you like myself who care about sports and nothing else, you can stay up for a late-night West Coast Conference sesh and see what this undefeated San Diego State situation is all about. Aztecs hit the over in each of their last five games, and the Lobos went over in 9 of their last 10.

Tuesday Payday

You’re reading this article so you can make some money, so let’s go ahead and do that. Tonight, I will be investing in my hard earned dollars - ehh, maybe just dollars - on Purdue -4.5 vs. Penn State. Wanna hear a fun fact? When this game tips off, Big Ten home teams are 65-22 straight up in conference play.

The Boilermakers got off to a pretty bad start this season but in the past month, they beat Michigan State by 29, Wisconsin by 19 and Iowa by 36. All at home. Penn State is on an absolute heater right now, jumping nine spots in the AP Top 25. They’ve gotta be feeling themselves a lil bit, a perfect time for a letdown.

Purdue comes in 12-3 straight up as favorites and 8-4 against the spread at home.

Let’s make it happen, Boilers.
