Terrion Arnold recruiting: Decision day for 4-star safety

Update: Terrion Arnold made his announcement on Wednesday to sign with Alabama.

 

A significant number of college football recruits for the class of 2021 signed their national letters of intent in the Early Signing Period in December, but there are plenty of talented prospects announcing their decision on National Signing Day including safety Terrion Arnold. Players in the 2021 class can sign on National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 3 and can do so anytime before the Aug. 1 deadline.

Let’s get to know a little more about Arnold and where he might end up. He is expected to make his decision on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. ET live on ESPN2.

Terrion Arnold is a four-star safety according to the 247Sports Composite player rankings and attends John Paul II Catholic High School in Tallahassee, Florida. He is ranked 50th nationally in the composite and is the third-highest ranked safety and No. 12 prospect from the state of Florida. He is 6 feet and 180 pounds.

Arnold has a significant number of FBS teams that offered him a scholarship including some of the top programs in the country. According to 247Sports, the list includes Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Boston College, FIU, Florida Atlantic, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan State, Minnesota, Mississippi State, NC State, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, South Carolina, Southern Miss, Syracuse, Temple, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, Toledo, UCF, USC, USF, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Washington State and West Virginia.

Terrion Arnold listed the top three schools he’s considering in a Twitter post on Jan. 8, which included Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

Nick Saban and Alabama keep on doing what Nick Saban and Alabama do as it appears another elite talent is headed to the Alabama Crimson Tide according to 247Sports. Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class is already ranked as the best class in the history of the 247Sports Composite team rankings, beating out Florida’s 2010 recruiting class.
