COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly says a 12-game schedule can be played if it started in October.
Ole Miss cancels on-campus athletics and academics through August 1.
Big 12 Commissioner says he’s concerned about having a full season.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter says there is a strong conviction college football season will be played.
Oklahoma AD says college football will be a collective decision of schools and agreement from a medical standpoint.

UFC

ESPN crushed Dana White’s Fight Island idea, postponing future events.

NBA

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst was scolded for reporting the ongoing pessimism of the NBA season returning.

Santa Clara County Executive Officer Jeffrey Smith says we’d be lucky to get sports by Thanksgiving.
