The debut of Room Raiders Reaction begins tonight at 9:00 CST. While every media company goes live with its Bachelor reaction show the second it ends, Deceptive Speed will break down a random episode of Room Raiders.
Now you may be asking yourself, “What the hell is Room Raiders?” Well I’m glad you asked.
Room Raiders is an MTV show that ran in the mid-2000s and is probably the greatest reality television show to ever exist. If you’re not familiar, basically three men or women are kidnapped from their homes and thrown into a van.
Meanwhile, somebody raids their rooms one-by-one and picks which guy or girl they want to go on a date with based on what is in their room. The three humans in the van gather around a monitor and make comments during the process. Surprisingly everybody is calm despite being stolen from their homes and held hostage with two other strangers.
How real is this? It’s reality TV. Of course it’s real and none of it is scripted. TV would never lie to me.
I can proudly say I have never seen a second of the Bachelor or the Bachelorette in my 26 years of life. It’s been proven time and time again the Bachelor does not lead to real love. That’s why I watch Room Raiders. That’s where the love is.
