What coronavirus? Every power conference canceled its tournaments this weekend due to the scare sweeping across the country. Except the Big East. Creighton and St. John’s are underway as we speak playing in front of a limited number of fans.
It started with the Big Ten Conference announcing its tournament’s cancellation 15 minutes before the start of Michigan and Rutgers. It seems strange the Big East is the only conference going at it, but I’m not a coronavirus expert unlike everybody I follow on social media.
Also canceled so far are the Atlantic 10, Conference USA, MAC and WAC with plenty more cancellations coming I’m sure.

I’m not sure if this is a stupid move or power move by the Big East. Only time will tell. In the meantime, let’s watch some hoops. I’m on the under because weekday daytime unders are the system this March.
Stay safe, everybody. Wash your hands and stay home if you’re sick.
