Penn State football was playing catch up from the start on Saturday night when Garrett Wilson took the game’s opening play 62 yards around the left end. Two plays later Master Teague took it in for the game’s first touchdown and the Buckeyes never looked back in a 38-25 victory. It was utter domination in the first half leaving Penn State in too big of a hole to mount any kind of comeback. Justin Fields was too much to handle looking like a surefire top-three pick for next year’s NFL Draft making every throw look easy. Fields completed 82% of his passes for 318 yards and four touchdowns. Video game numbers. Ohio State built its lead to 18 before Jordan Stout

Penn State football vs. Ohio State preview
2020 has been the year of what ifs. What if there wasn’t a global pandemic? What if Penn State's All-American linebacker never opted out? What if the Nittany Lions' top two running backs never got hurt? Well, I think I’d be more excited than any kid on Christmas Eve. I mean think about this: Halloween night. Blue moon. 7:30 p.m. under the lights of Beaver Stadium. While those things build up some excitement, everyone knows this game is not going to be what it was supposed to be. But one thing remains the same and provides some normalcy: Penn State’s hatred for Ohio State and Ohio State’s hatred for Penn State. That’s why I’ll try to forget about all the factors
College football Week 9 NFL Draft prospects to watch
With the Big Ten back, there are plenty of top prospects to watch every week. Even with eligibility forgiven for this season, there will likely be a large group of players who enter their names in the upcoming draft. With COVID-19 spiking and the prospect of playing in doubt every week, college football's top prospects will need to take advantage of every game they have and put together film that will grab scouts attention. Boston College vs. Clemson Zion Johnson, IOL – Boston College Travis Etienne, RB – Clemson Boston College has one of the most underrated offensive lines in the country. It is led by senior Zion Johnson, who is as physical and aggressive as they come at the point of attack. Johnson
College football Week 9 Games To watch
The College Football Playoff race is in full swing, and a few unbeatens will put their records on the line in this week's slate of games. Here is a look at some games to keep an eye on this Saturday. Boston College vs. Clemson Date: Friday, Oct. 31 Time: Noon ET TV: ABC Spread: Clemson -31 Clemson is one of the premier teams in college football and showed why last week beating Syracuse by 26 points while clearly struggling with consistency and Travis Etienne cramps on offense. The Tigers will look to get back on track against a Boston College team that should not be overlooked. As the defensive coordinator at Ohio State, Boston College head coach Jeff Hafley limited the Clemson offense to 29 points, shutting
Penn State football: Noah Cain out for season
If the Micah Parsons and Journey Brown news wasn’t enough, add Noah Cain on the list of stars who will be missing the remainder of the 2020 season for Penn State football. Expected to take the lead running back role, Cain left the game due to an injury last Saturday and did not return. Last season, Cain broke onto the scene as the next guy up in the history of great Penn State running backs. In a huge primetime game at Kinnick Stadium last year, he looked like anything but a true freshman. Cain played bully ball all night rushing 22 times for 102 yards and a touchdown to put Iowa away and remain undefeated. It was an electric performance, but
Penn State football: What went wrong vs. Indiana
Losing hurts, but it’s college football and that happens. But to be on the wrong side of a historically bad call makes going 0-1 even more painful. I could go on all day how the refs lost Penn State football the game, but at the end of the day, Penn State beat itself. There were plenty of opportunities to get out of Indiana with a win, but it didn’t execute when it needed to. Three missed field goals, three turnovers, questionable play calling and the list goes on and everyone has to be held accountable. Offense I wasn’t impressed with Kirk Ciarrocca’s play calling debut for Penn State football. While the ball was spread around to 12 different guys throughout the game,
Penn State football vs. Indiana Preview
Seven weeks later than scheduled, but Penn State and the rest of Big Ten football is back and will kick off their 2020 season this Saturday. With the change of schedule due to COVID-19, Penn State will be traveling to Bloomington, Indiana for its season opener. Indiana is on the rise and should not be overlooked by anyone in the conference… except maybe Ohio State. Although Penn State has taken the last six games against the Hoosiers, three of them have been decided by a touchdown or less, including the last two. Indiana has been knocking on the door to take down James Franklin’s team for a while now, and they have a chance to do just that this week. Here

The Big Ten is back and dominates the Week 8 slate of games with several high profile matchups. The Big 12 also has a few big games to keep an eye on, but football fans across the country will have their first taste of normal when it comes to college football in 2020. Wisconsin vs Illinois Date: Friday, Oct. 23 Time: 8 p.m. ET TV: BTN Spread: Wisconsin -19.5 The opening game for the Big Ten features a rematch of arguably the Big Ten’s biggest upset last season with Illinois taking on Wisconsin. Unfortunately for the Badgers they will be without incumbent starter Jack Coan at quarterback after he suffered a foot injury a couple weeks ago. That leaves the door open for highly touted recruit Graham Mertz
Nebraska football game-by-game preview
The Big Ten regular season is set to kick off in less than a month. Will this third iteration of the schedule bode well for the Cornhuskers? With Ohio State knocking at the door, it's time to shape up or lose 63-3 again. This game-by-game preview covers Nebraska football and its 2020 campaign. The 2020 Nebraska football schedule kicks off Oct. 24 at noon ET on FOX. Nebraska at #6 Ohio State - Oct. 24 When looking at Nebraska's schedule, you'd be convinced it was punishment for all the chirping it did over the past month. If you were asked to make a list of the toughest teams to open the season against, Ohio State should be at or near the top of
