Players in the 2021 class can sign on National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 3 and can do so anytime before the Aug. 1 deadline.

Dontae Balfour is a three-star defensive end according to the 247Sports Composite player rankings and attends high school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is ranked 441st nationally in the composite and is the 33rd-highest ranked cornerback and No. 67 prospect from the state of Florida. Balfour stands at 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds.

Where’s he headed?

Dontae Balfour appears to be the next member of the North Carolina Tar Heels‘ 2021 recruiting class. That’s where 247Sports has him going, and it’s another key recruit for Mack Brown, who continues to put together a solid group of players.

The Tar Heels already have 18 players committed to the class and ranked No. 14 in all of college football and are third in the ACC.
