Dontae Balfour is a three-star defensive end according to the 247Sports Composite player rankings and attends high school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is ranked 441st nationally in the composite and is the 33rd-highest ranked cornerback and No. 67 prospect from the state of Florida. Balfour stands at 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds.
