One of the strangest days in sports is getting crazier as Nebraska head coach Fred Hoiberg left for the locker room late in the Cornhuskers’ loss to Indiana on Wednesday night. He left the stadium for the hospital following the game, and nobody from the Nebraska program talked to the media postgame. All the information we have is from reporters on Twitter, so let’s let them tell the whole story.
Jesus, Fred Hoiberg looks awful. This is scary. pic.twitter.com/mhyzDEaW7W

Just went to go find Fred Hoiberg. I’ve been told to remain away from the locker rooms.

Security is sending anyone away that’s near the locker rooms. One security officer tells me it is because of a sick coach.

Indiana players will not speak to the media.
Archie Miller said he wants to get them to the hotel as quickly as possible. #iubb

Told by a source close to the situation that Fred Hoiberg began feeling “really bad” earlier today. https://t.co/UbpaApJqHD

Nebraska men’s basketball team is not leaving Bankers Life Arena. They were brought their food outside the locker room. They are not letting people back to the area now. I just walked back to the area here and they told me no one from Nebraska will be made available.

Nobody reported what Hoiberg is dealing with to this point. Wash your hands and stay home if you’re sick. We’ll get through this, America.
