Fred Hoiberg left Big Ten Tournament with illness

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE (10:50 p.m. CST): Nebraska can now leave the locker room. Great job by the media reporting this story.

UPDATE: The Nebraska basketball team is now being quarantined inside its locker room in Indianapolis.

One of the strangest days in sports is getting crazier as Nebraska head coach Fred Hoiberg left for the locker room late in the Cornhuskers’ loss to Indiana on Wednesday night. He left the stadium for the hospital following the game, and nobody from the Nebraska program talked to the media postgame. All the information we have is from reporters on Twitter, so let’s let them tell the whole story.

Nobody reported what Hoiberg is dealing with to this point. Wash your hands and stay home if you’re sick. We’ll get through this, America.
